We connect individuals and couples throughout Texas with certified Imago Relationship Therapists and transformative relationship workshops. Think of us as your trusted guide to finding the right professional help for your relationship needs, not the providers themselves.
No. We do not employ therapists or provide counseling services directly. We maintain a comprehensive directory of independent, certified Imago therapists throughout Texas and coordinate workshops led by certified facilitators. Our role is connecting you with these professionals, not providing therapy ourselves.
A therapy practice employs therapists who treat clients directly. Imago Texas is a directory service, we vet, list, and connect you with independent therapists and workshop facilitators. We're the bridge between people seeking help and certified professionals who provide it.
We provide three core services:
(1) Therapist Directory - comprehensive searchable database of certified Imago therapists,
(2) Workshop Coordination - organizing and promoting relationship workshops throughout Texas, and
(3) Educational Resources - free guides, articles, videos, and tools for relationship wellness.
No. All therapists listed in our directory are independent practitioners who run their own private practices. They set their own fees, maintain their own schedules, and operate completely independently. We simply verify their credentials and list them in our directory to help you find them.
Our directory allows you to search for certified Imago therapists by location, specialty, insurance acceptance, session format (in-person or virtual), and other criteria. Each listing includes the therapist's credentials, approach, specialties, fees, and contact information so you can make an informed choice.
We verify that each listed therapist is:
(1) We verify that every professional listed has completed over 100 hours of training specifically on working with couples in the Imago model.
(2)They have additional supervision to support their ongoing work.
(3) They have attended the Getting the Love You Want workshop and are able to support you in all of the exercises from the workshop as well as continue the work you began there.
(4) They are all Certified through Imago Relationships International and they specialize in working with relationships.
No. We provide complete, accurate information about all listed therapists, but we don't make specific recommendations. You choose your therapist based on your needs, preferences, location, budget, and the profiles you review. We believe you're the best judge of who is right for you.
Each therapist listing includes their direct contact information, phone number, email, and often a link to their website. You contact them directly to schedule consultations or sessions. We don't act as an intermediary in scheduling.
Since therapists are independent professionals, any concerns should be addressed directly with them first. If issues persist, you can contact their licensing board. If you believe a therapist should be removed from our directory due to verified ethical violations, please contact us.
No. Searching our directory and accessing therapist information is completely free. You only pay the therapist directly for their services if you choose to work with them.
We organize logistics for Imago workshops throughout Texas, promoting events, managing registration, coordinating with venues, and connecting participants with certified facilitators. The workshops themselves are led by independent, certified Imago workshop presenters, not Imago Texas staff.
All workshops are led by Certified Imago Relationship Workshop Presenters. These are independent practitioners who have completed rigorous training through Imago Relationships International. We coordinate the events; they provide the expert facilitation.
Browse our workshop calendar, select the workshop that fits your needs, and click the registration link. You'll complete registration and payment through our secure system. We'll send confirmation, logistics, and all materials needed for the workshop.
Imago Texas is not a part of registrations or cancellations for workshops. Registration and cancellation policies are managed directly by the workshop facilitators. If you need to make changes to your registration or cannot attend, please contact your facilitator directly. They will be able to assist you and coordinate attendance at a future workshop if needed.
While we coordinate with highly qualified facilitators using proven methodology, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. However, most workshops offer satisfaction guarantees (typically full refund if not satisfied after the first day). Check specific workshop policies.
Yes! If there are no workshops currently scheduled in your area, contact us. With sufficient interest (typically 4-5 couples), we can work to coordinate a workshop in your city with a certified facilitator.
We earn revenue through:
(1) workshop coordination fees (included in workshop registration costs),
(2) optional premium directory listings for therapists, and
(3) partnerships with relationship-focused organizations. We never charge individuals seeking help to search our directory or access resources.
No. Therapists pay nothing when clients find them through our directory. We don't take any portion of therapy fees. Our directory is free for clients to use, and therapists either list for free or pay a small optional fee for enhanced visibility but never per-client commissions.
Workshop pricing varies based on: facilitator experience and credentials, venue costs, workshop length and format (full weekend vs. one-day), location (major city vs. smaller town), and what's included (meals, materials, etc.). We provide transparent pricing so you can choose what fits your budget.
Many workshops offer payment plans (typically 3 monthly payments). This option is available at registration. Some therapists also offer payment plans for therapy services, check individual therapist profiles or ask during consultation.
Some workshops offer limited scholarships for financial hardship. Additionally, many therapists in our directory offer sliding scale fees. Filter our directory by "sliding scale available" or contact us to inquire about scholarship availability.
We verify credentials, require active licensure, confirm Imago certification, and periodically re-verify information. We also monitor for complaints and remove therapists who no longer meet our standards or have verified ethical violations.
