Jirzia Blackman is the Founder and CEO of Rhapsody Counseling and Wellness Center, a practice she established in 2018 with a vision of providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care to individuals, couples, and families. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S), she is passionate about helping others heal while mentoring and developing the next generation of social workers. With more than 20 years of experience, Jirzia earned her Master of Social Work from the Silver School of Social Work at New York University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University. Jirzia integrates trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Imago Relationship Therapy to support individuals, couples, and families in healing and building healthier relationships. She is a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and Certified Imago Workshop Presenter, facilitating transformative experiences that help couples understand their relationship patterns, deepen connection, and move toward greater healing and wholeness. Her dedication to helping others move from pain toward wholeness is deeply personal, rooted in her own journey of resilience and her Isaiah 61:3 story—beauty from ashes.
